brrrrrr.... and other news.

oh folks, it's a cold one today. When I woke up this morning our thermostat read 64. That's chilly! So, it's Oct. 2 and we've officially turned on the heat (to 70). I've taught Dylan my favorite trick as a kid (who am I kidding...I still do it now!) - take a blanket, and snuggle up over the register.... so toasty and warm!

In other news - Today MAY very well be the day of the new camera. After work today, Seth suggested we take a run over to Best Buy / Circuit City to see what they have. Last night, on our outing to Target (it's been two months since I was last there... can you believe that?!) for humidifer filters and Lexmark Ink Cartridges, I fell in love with a Nikon D40... but realized it didn't have a video option and fell out of love with it (because LAWD knows I don't need to carry around a video camera, a digital camera and a diaper bag, and a purse AND two kids!).

So, here's hoping tonight I'm taking practice shots ...

Dylan is feeling better, and now, as luck would have it, Nattie seems a little out of sorts... She was up until 11:00 last night, crying and cranky. (Gas?!) and up again at 2 - in which she nursed and I had to let her cry it out (she was asleep in like 2 min). But, needless to say - I didn't make it to boot camp this morning. boooooooo for me.... I am now going to feel like a lard butt all day-(thank goodness for some easy to do at home exercises I've learned from Christy, maybe I'll do those during naptime.)

We're in the process of halloween costumes - who knew it would be so difficult to find exactly what I want for them. Though I think I've resolved Natalie's costume and am hoping to get Dylan's this weekend (along with some underwears AND a big boy potty!!!!!)
